Life Settlements

We specialize in placing qualified investors into one of the fastest growing, financial opportunities in years ; Life Settlement investments. We work directly with Life Partners, Inc which is one of the premier companies in the Life Settlement Investment market.

Life Partners, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Texas on September 10, 1991. In January 2000, LPI became a wholly owned subsidiary of Life Partners Holdings, Inc. and continues to be an industry leader in the life settlement market.  Life Partners Holdings, Inc.'s stock is traded on the
NASDAQ under the symbol LPHI.  LPHI is America's oldest and only publicly held company involved in providing life settlements.

To date, LPI has completed over 5700 transactions in the secondary life insurance market totaling well over 450 million dollars in face value, making it one of the most active companies in the United States engaged in the secondary market for life insurance.

Maximum safety for its investors has been a central theme of Life Partners since its inception, having secured the use of a third party, independent escrow agent for closing its transactions. Long before it was mandated by state regulations, Life Partners pioneered the use of an independent escrow company. Life Partners uses
Sterling Trust Company. Sterling is regulated by the Texas Department of Banking.

Sterling Trust is also a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Western Bancorp, Inc.(
NASDAQ: UWBK), a Denver, Colorado-based financial services entity.

Sterling Trust Company is a non-bank trust company chartered under the laws of the state of Texas and regulated by the Texas Department of Banking. Since 1984, Sterling Trust has specialized in providing quality non-discretionary custodial services on self-directed IRAs, business retirement plans, and personal custodial accounts as well as escrow and paying agent services. From its corporate offices in Waco, Texas, Sterling Trust services individual and business retirement accounts in all 50 states.

Life Settlement Source works only with companies that provide the highest in ethical standards through policy and industry experience.

What is a
Life Settlement?

A Senior Life Settlement is the sale of an insurance policy issued on the life of someone whose life expectancy can be reasonably estimated by empirical means.

Life Settlements are similar in nature to a zero-coupon bond. Policies are purchased at a discount to their face value. These discounts fall into general brackets according to the life expectancy of the insured, but will vary slightly based on individual policy features and market conditions for the policy.

Yield is computed from the difference between the cost basis (including any premiums paid) and the amount paid out when the policy matures. An annualized return on investment may be derived from this yield by adjusting it for the holding period of the investment.

The acquisition cost includes all of LPI's fees and costs associated with the transaction as well as all fees for servicing.

Transaction Security

All transactions are regulated by the Texas Department of Insurance and are closed through Sterling Trust Co., an independent trust company regulated by the Texas Department of Banking

Inherent Asset Value

Policies are issued by some of America's oldest and most financially sound life insurance companies. Our clients enjoy the same regulatory protection available to all life insurance policy holders. Even during the Great Depression, life insurance companies still paid off their policies.

Superior Yield Potential

Compare the potential yields from Life Settlements to other types of investments. Life Settlements are immune from fluctuations in the stock and bond markets, interest rates and business cycles while still providing the opportunity for exceptional returns on investment.

Risk Amelioration

Normally, exceptional returns require accepting enormous risk to both investment capital. Not so with Life Settlements. Because the key factor affecting yields is time, rather than market conditions, exceptional returns can be realized with a low risk to investment capital.
