I know if I open a Self-Directed IRA and roll my existing IRA money into it, I can instruct my trustee to buy real estate that I don’t live in. I lived in it for 2 years, but it’s been rented now for 6 months. So it’s considered investment property. I want to pay off the finance completely with money in my self directed IRA.
Hi, I read your answer for Ira self directed Accounts?
Now, my question is if an open A self directed account to buy real estate, What about the lending process? Who obtain the loan, the person or the Ira account? Any special loan program??
answer
The Residential Equity Group, LLC uses Private Lenders to fund high yielding real estate investments. Our investment model makes sense in today’s economy. We have been able to buy single and multiple family properties at incredible prices. We are putting occupant/buyers into the homes while working with them to qualify to buy. Our Private Lenders like the investments because they are completely passive income for them while outperforming regular investments like the stock market. I’m looking mostly at Equity Trust (seems to have better fees), and Entrust (does not place their fees on the website, but they have an office close to everywhere I live; I presume this might come in handy if I need things signed for real estate, etc.
